Biography

I completed a BA in English and Modern Languages and New Technologies of Communication at the University of Deusto (Spain), and an MA in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Chicago (USA). I am currently finishing my PhD in Hispanic Linguistics.
My research interests focus mainly on Bilingualism, methodological issues in Code-switching research, language contact and Syntax. I am also interested in second, third and heritage language teaching and learning and communicative language teaching.
