Biography

Dr Ahmad B. Albadarin is a lecturer in Chemical Engineering at the University of Limerick (Chemical Sciences Department). Dr  Albadarin received a B.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Queen’s University Belfast in 2012. He is a Senior Researcher in the Synthesis and Solid State Pharmaceutical Centre (SSPC) at the University of Limerick, holder of SIRG title – SFI, and the research team leader for the MOMEnTUM spokes project. He has been active in the area of granulation and coating of pharmaceuticals and organic fertilizers; the development of new materials and technologies for the generation and stabilisation of active pharmaceutical ingredients. His current research involves the study of the preparation of oral solid dosage manufacturing technology: monitoring of product and process quality.
He has published more than 70 scientific papers since 2011, 30 of which were in the last 24 months. These scientific publications were peer reviewed and accepted by prestigious pharmaceutical and Engineering international journals with impact factors ranging from 1.631 to 9.125.
