The EUDIST research and development project in Ireland involved a school-university partnership with four case study schools and the University of Limerick. Seven science teachers, from the four schools, participated in a Teacher Design Team (TDT) with the goal of making explicit their perspectives and experiences from mentoring student teachers at their schools and to gain insight into the conditions and the the context required for innovation in science teaching and science teacher education.
