This evaluation of the effectiveness and
impact of the CASCİ in Limerick City is located within the wider context of the
drugs education policy in Ireland. Despite the relative increase in the number
and variety of addiction courses available, very few evaluations have been
carried out on the impact and effectiveness of these courses.
