This
new edition is a revision of Administrative
Law (Essential Law Text) which brings it fully up to date, expands the
coverage, and includes numerous improvements to the first edition. Many
interesting developments have occurred since the publication of the first
edition that make it appropriate to revise portions of the book, and to evaluate
additional case law so as to further explain the development, rationale, principles
and policies of Irish administrative law. New cases have been incorporated into
most chapters to further explain the development and application of the core
principles and policies of Irish administrative law and some chapters have been
revised and reorganised. The changes reflect my own experiences in using the
book in addition to suggestions received from readers.
