This workshop will showcase some simple strategies students can adopt to work on their speaking and listening skills. Digital tools such as text-to-speech or speech-to-text technology can allow learners to work independently to prepare for oral exams or presentations. These tools can also be adapted for aural practice. During the workshop, concrete examples will be shown and teachers will be able to test some of the tools with their own devices. The workshop will be based on some of the training material developed as part of the e-lang project (www.ecml.at/elang)
