This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the key concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book aims to generate a scholarly forum for strategic planning, proactive leadership, and adaptive designs to shape more desirable futures for physical education (PE), physical education teacher education (PETE), teachers, children and youth, and schools and communities. It explores a specific grand challenge, they collectively represent the complex ecologies of PE and PETE that arise when conversations arise in response to specific ¿grand challenges¿ for PE/PETE across numerous associated stakeholders and differing context and cultures. The book suggests how established teachers and beginning teachers can be supported in making necessary changes for diverse learners and contexts to optimize learning for all. It considers a specific grand challenge and which reflective stakeholders to work with, and learn from, in proposing a collective action strategy.
